Starting to get cool in the mornings… welcome Autumn😊
Took advantage of the last of the southeasterly winds leaving Robe but they soon died and turned northerly creating a bit of a workout for the legs.
Came across a skeleton in the middle of nowhere, initially I thought an omen but on closer inspection, a memorial to the 2020 toilet paper crisis😂😂😂
A shorter day, so decided to turn off and have a look at Cape Jaffa… what a bleak and ordinary place. I’m sure the people who live here must love it, a sort of modern-day fishing village, but completely devoid of character.
Kingston SE, urban sprawl along the coast, seemingly empty of people. These places must live for the summer tourists.
Promised myself some veges today and the Crown Inn delivered, an excellent meal and reasonably priced, all washed down with a couple of beers.
Not much to do in Kingston on a rest day except rest.
Finally inspired to get back into Bulldust. There are a few rest days looming as I’m ahead of time, so hoping to get the characters back in my mind and the story back on track.
